So, now here’s something special. 2x BLF Q8 MCPCB’s LH351D 4000k 90CRI with pre-soldered wires for sale, for 15$US/each, via Paypal. Limited to one/person.

The LEDs are LH351Ds 4000k 90CRI. Not as good as 219Bs R9080, but quite a bit better than R9050 219Cs, with much less green in the beam. It’s a creamy soft white. It makes colors pop, as you will see in the pics below, which were lit a BLF Q8 with the same LEDs

They were reflowed on a analog temperature controlled hotplate, following Samsung’s guidelines of slowly heating up, and then letting the LEDs flow onto the pads, which actually took a much longer time than most of my other modded lights, since the THICK 2mm Q8 MCPCB sinks in a lot of heat.

The LEDs were then tested using a DPS5015 power supply, and they all lighted up together, with no brightness difference. between every LED and MCPCB.

15$US to Canada and US. I limited it to 1/person, just so more people can experience high CRI 4000k goodness They’re soooo nice.

I have several Q8s, and it’s time to sell one!

This one has Samsung LH351D 5000k 90CRI emitters, spring bypasses, a de-crenulated bezel, and runs ToyKeeper’s excellent Andúril UI.

It’s an early Q8, and suffers from the intermittent switch LED issue. I swapped them to pink LEDs when the light arrived, but they don’t want to cooperate for a photo.

I placed a small dot of red Sharpie in the center of the reflector to keep track of which Q8 had the Samsung emitters. Specifically, they’re SPHWHTL3DA0GF4RTS6 emitters.

This one’s low is very low. I’ve included a photo comparing it to my Zebralight SC62w’s lowest 0.01 lumen mode.

Hi all. I am selling a few budget blades and one non-budget blade.

The first is a Ruike P865B. This is a liner lock with G10 handles and a 3.5” Sandvik 14C28N wharncliffe blade. The blade is well-centered and lock-up is solid. The knife is in mint condition and looks to have its factory edge, but I am not the original owner. The second is a Sanrenmu SRM 1161. This is a frame lock with steel handles and 3.5” Sandvik 14C28N tanto blade. The blade is well-centered and lock-up is solid. It is on bearing, so the action is super-smooth. I am the original owner and the knife has its sharp factory edge. The knife was used to open a few envelopes and then sat in my desk drawer, so it is in like new condition. The price is $22 + $3 shipping.

Last is the non-budget knife. It is a Ferrum Forge Falcon Wing Edition. This is the bronze titanium version. The knife was designed by Ferrum Forge and made by WE Knife. The fit/finish is fantastic, as you would expect from WE. The S35VN blade is sharp and looks to have its factory edge, but I am not the original owner. Lock-up, with the steel lockbar insert, is solid with no blade play. This one is also on bearings, so the action is great. There is some scuffing on the clip. It didn’t show up that well in the pic, but it is there. Other than the clip scuffs, the knife is in mint condition. Looking to trade my Fenix E16 fitted with a Nichia NVSL219BT-V1 R9080 sw45K, for Olight S-mini Ti Bead Blasted.

Like the E16 for it’s size (truly the smallest non-mule light at only 52mm, despite what other brands have claimed),
Love the E16 (now) for it’s great hi-cri neutral tint and balance of hotspot/throw and spill,
… but the Hold for ON and Hold for OFF, while great for minimizing accidental turn-on’s, is not my preferred UI.

So if you have an S-mini Ti Bead Blast that you’d like to trade for something even smaller, hi-cri neutral tinted and that has a more traditional hotspot/spill reflector-like beam pattern (and don’t mind the Fenix UI), PM me.

The Fenix E16 (photo middle) in it’s excellent current condition.

NovaTac mod XM-L2 3C + 18650 body
It’s a „SPA Defence” version, there is a mark „Made in USA” on the body, but don’t know if that’s true. It’s programmable and was modded with XM-L2 3C – no sphere to measure output, but current could go higher than in stock version. Stock body with flat bottom and 18650 body with tactical switch – with that it’s limited RAINBOW version. Comes with a clip (not genuine NTac). Bezel has some wear, body is in quite good condition (has one machining flaw, no scratches).

Shadow JM30 XHP70 + 2×26350
This baby is modded with shaved XHP70, FX-30 driver (short turbo 4.5A, then steps down to 2.7A). Don’t know what was the stock tint of LED, but now it’s definitly NW – I assume it was 3C and now after tint shift it’s more like 4C. Thanks to shaved dome it focuses better that You could expect of much small reflector. Can’t see any signs of wear at body.

Up for sale is a 2C maglite featuring four Samsung LH35 emitters in 5000K under the BLF Q8 quad reflector. This light is designed to be powered by a single 26650 unprotected cell (not included) and uses a FET+7135 driver and D4 ramping firmware/momentary switch.
